Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Prompix ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use prompix.app.
1. Information We Collect
Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address and the display name you provide. Authentication is handled by Supabase.
Content you share. Images, prompts, AI tool names, and collection names you submit are stored and displayed publicly on the platform.
Usage data. We collect anonymised analytics (page views, events) via PostHog to understand how the site is used. This data does not personally identify you.
Advertising data. We use Ezoic to serve ads. Ezoic and its partners may collect data about your browser, device, and browsing behaviour to show relevant ads. See Ezoic's privacy policy for details.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the Prompix service
- To display your shared images and prompts to other users
- To improve the site based on aggregated usage analytics
- To serve advertisements through Ezoic
- To monitor site errors and performance via Sentry
3. Cookies and Tracking
We and our third-party partners (Ezoic, PostHog) use cookies and similar tracking technologies. When you first visit, Ezoic's consent management tool will ask for your cookie preferences. You can adjust or withdraw consent at any time via the consent banner.
4. Third-Party Services
Prompix relies on the following third-party services, each with their own privacy practices:
- Supabase — authentication and database
- Ezoic — advertising and consent management
- PostHog — product analytics
- Sentry — error monitoring
- Vercel — hosting and analytics
5. Data Retention and Deletion
Your account data and shared content are retained as long as your account is active. You may delete your account or request removal of your content at any time by contacting us. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
6. Children's Privacy
Prompix is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
